Our students crave movement and need to have plenty of outdoor time in our day. At OASIS, we recognize our students’ need for activity and integrate outdoor time in their daily experience. While each student has their very own station where they can focus on seated work, action is a crucial part of our expectations.
We visit state parks, beaches, and more to integrate action and outdoor activity into our curriculum. We create educational opportunities from our surroundings, creating an individualized menu of choices that takes advantage of all that Santa Cruz and the Central Valley have to offer.
