Learn through experience.

Every student starts at a different level. At OASIS, we recognize each student’s strengths and move forward from there, with an individualized program tailored to student abilities and interests. Each student works on unique, differentiated material delivered in age-appropriate terms. Our certified special education teacher designs a program that fuses general education curriculum aligned with school district and Common Core standards with a one to one special education style. We incorporate our community and our surroundings into the curriculum, visiting local businesses and seizing learning opportunities that take place in the real world. Students learn the skills they will need later in life through real experience. After each outing, our Lead Instructor works with students to write journal entries and apply their experience with age-appropriate lessons that prepare students for adulthood.
